Qadir Mitchell of the Albright men's basketball team has been named to the Middle Atlantic Conference (MAC) Academic All-MAC Team during the 2025-2026 athletic seasons. Mitchell is just one of 10 players to receive the recognition among MAC men's basketball players. The full list of recipients can be found

The Winter Academic All-MAC teams recognize the top student-athletes both in the classroom and in athletic competition during the 2026 spring semester. The MAC sports information directors nominate and vote for the Academic All-MAC teams, giving 50 percent weight on both academic success and athletic success. A student athlete must have a fall semester grade-point average (GPA) of 3.20 or higher to be eligible for the award.
Mitchell served as an electric focal point for the Lions' offense turning in one of the best scoring seasons in recent memory. Mitchell's 564 points and 21.7 per game average both rank fifth all time while his 66 threes sit at eighth all time in a single season.
The senior scored 10 or more points in every game this season including a career best 37 points in as many minutes in the team's victory over Kean and joined the school's 1,000 points club with 24 points against Stevenson. Mitchell ends his career with 1065 points placing him in 36
th all time.
Additionally, Mitchell was named to the MAC First Team, Second Team National Basketball Coaches Association (NBCA) Region V and was a finalist for the 2026 NABC Division III College All-Star Game.
