Last season Dupree became the second player in school history to be named Defensive Player of the Year and became the first Lion to receive the award twice after another stellar season. Additionally, Dupree becomes the only player in school history to win a "Conference of the Year" award twice.
The Asbury Park, N.J. native finished fourth in the conference in total rebounds while leading all players with 62 blocks. Dupree leaves Albright as the program's single season blocked shot leader and career all time shot blocker. He set the single season block record a year ago with 90 helping him to 204 career blocks, becoming the only player in school history to record 200 or more blocks.
Dupree played 83 career games finishing his career with 846 points scored, 541 rebounds, 204 blocks and a field goal percentage of 51.6.
Corey Simmons was the last player to be named to an All-Region team in 2021 before today.
