READING, Pa. – Women's basketball will open postseason play tomorrow against the Messiah Falcons. This season marks the 11

Janice Luck has guided the Lions to the MAC Commonwealth Tournament.
Admission for adults will be $8 with seniors (65+) and youth (7-17) being $6. Admission will be free for kids six and under (with an adult) and MAC students via the presentation of their school IDs.

ABOUT ALBRIGHT
Albright enters the MAC Commonwealth tournament as the #4 seed after recording 13 wins and improving upon a nine-win 2023-2024 campaign. The Lions finished conference play with a 7-7 record.
Senior guard
Mackenzie Dover finished the regular season with a team leading 13.6 ppg and played a team high 29.8 mpg. Dover made history earlier this season and joined the 1,000-point club with 19 points in the team's win against Widener.
Orianna Edmond led the Lions on defense and averaged a team best 7.2 rebounds and also averaged 1.6 blocks. Edmond has also shown the ability to impact the game on offense and recorded six double-doubles which included a season high 15 points against Stevenson. The junior also recorded her 500th career rebound this season.
Chrisdin Jones and
Gigi Serrano have been key rotational pieces off the bench and averaged at least 15 mpg. Jones and Serrano both also stepped up and spent time in the starting lineup after a number of injuries had struck the team late in the season.
ABOUT MESSIAH
The Falcons enter the tournament as the #1 seed which included a perfect 14-0 conference record and are riding a 16-game win streak dating back to their December game against Catholic.
The Falcons' offense is led by Graduate guard Reese Harden who leads the team in both points (14.4) and assists (3.3) per game. Harden has also impacted the defensive end this season with 27 blocks, also a team high, and 36 steals.
Liv Monturo, also a graduate student, leads the rebounding efforts for Messiah with an average of 6.9 and ranks second on the team in scoring with 13.4 pg. Monturo's been arguably the most efficient scorer for the Falcons with a team best 52.3% shooting.
Chloe Milanesi has been an impact player from the three-point line and is shooting 33.6% from beyond the arc which leads all starters.
