FLEETWOOD, Pa. – Men's golf began the 2025 Middle Atlantic Conference (MAC) Commonwealth Championships this afternoon. Today is the first of two rounds being played at Golden Oaks Golf Club. After day one Albright is in third shooting a team score of 303.
RESULTS
Albright played well overall shooting a formidable score of 303. The team score trails York who is in first place after shooting a 289 and Stevenson who came in at 297 after round one.
The Lions score of 303 is three strokes better than Alvernia and Hood who are tied for fourth place.

Sam Elsen and
Charles Bailey all find themselves inside the top 10 after day one of competition. The trio of Lions all tied with each other shooting a three over 75. Combining all three of the Lions rounds, Lilejblad, Elsen and Bailey had seven birdies between the golfers.
Liljebald shot a tremendous front nine recording three birdies shooting a 35 one under par going out. Elsen was consistent throughout shooting even par through his first 11 holes. Bailey was able to finish strong shooting under par on the back nine playing his last five holes at two under par.
Evan Twyman shot a 78 recording a solid round. Twyman got better as the round went on playing his last 10 holes at just two over par.
Ben Egin was able to find three birdies throughout his round shooting a 79. Egin birdied holes five, 15 and 18 to highlight his round. Egin was able to get back in the mix heading into day two playing his last four holes at two under par.

Men's golf will return to the course tomorrow afternoon for the final round of the men's golf championships. The Lions will begin to tee off around 11 a.m.
