WILLIAMSPORT, Pa. – Men's golf participated in the two-day Northeast Elite Shootout over the course of the past two days playing 36 holes of golf in total. Albright finished day two with a team score of 314 for an overall tournament score of 621.
RESULTS
The Northeast Elite Shootout field was the strongest field the Lions have gone up against this season. Nine of the 16 teams in the field ended last season inside the top 100 of the team national rankings. Rochester won the tournament with a two-day score of 577.
Williamsport Country Club played tougher on the second day than the first seeing the entire field's scoring average increase from 76.89 on day one to 77.11 on day two.
Nontaphat Veeratecha put together back-to-back rounds in the 70's. On Monday, Veeratecha improved on his round one score by four strokes shooting a 75 today. Veeratecha played the front nine at even par helping him finish better than half the field.
August Fredrik Alhanko matched Veeratecha with two rounds in the 70's. Fredrik shot a 77 which is a two-shot improvement from yesterday to today.
Charles Bailey improved on day two from day one by four strokes shooting a 78 today. Across the two days Bailey tallied four total birdies.
Federico Cobos Kallmann finished round two with an 80 and was followed by
Jonatan Liljeblad and
Evan Twyman who each shot an 81.
