ABOUT ALBRIGHT

The Lions continue to lead the conference in offensive yards and are the only team to be averaging over 400 yards per game (405.5) along with a defensive unit that has surrendered the second fewest yards (1581) among all MAC teams.

Logan Rothberg leads all MAC players in receiving yards with 575 while averaging 19.2 yards per reception. Rothberg's stellar senior season has been accompanied by a breakout season from sophomore Shayde Shultz who currently sits at the number five spot for receiving yards with 340 on 22 catches. The Lions are the only team in the MAC to feature two receivers in the top five for yardage. Kadan Smith and Isaiah Megginson have become a formidable duo and sit at the number four and eight spots in rushing yards on the season.

Against Alvernia, the Lions allowed just 169 total yards of offense to the Golden Wolves and will look to carry momentum against one of the top offenses in the conference. Albright and Stevenson are currently tied for the conference lead in sacks with 21. Nasir Ward has enjoyed a breakout sophomore season and leads the team with four sacks. James Evans and Khaleeb Foster have each provided shutdown roles in the secondary and have combined for 14 defended passes and three interceptions.

ABOUT STEVENSON

The Mustangs are led by Josh Hoeg who is in the midst of his first season as head coach after serving as the associate head coach and offensive coordinator since 2019. Stevenson ranks second in total offense (2395) and has allowed the fourth fewest yards (1633).

Stevenson's offense ranks second in the MAC in both rushing and passing yards and features no lack of explosive playmakers. As a team the Mustangs are averaging five yards per carry with Edward Emmens leading the way with 312 yards on 67 carries. Stevenson has rotated between quarterbacks Todd Lattimore and Jailen Knight with Lattimore listed as the starter on the team's two-deep. The Stevenson quarterbacks have combined for 13 touchdowns and 10 interceptions this season with Khari Walker and Noah Robinson combining for over 700 yards and 10 touchdowns on the season.

Brandon Adler and Xavier McKinney serve as a formidable duo on the defensive line with five and four sacks to their respective names and have created uncomfortable passing situations for quarterbacks all season. Linebacker Ethan Marshall leads the team with 49 tackles and can be expected to be involved with most plays in some form. Stevenson's defense has allowed the third most passing yards and will have a tough test for them against a high-powered Lions passing attack.
