NEWTOWN, Pa. – Kenedy Cooper of the Albright women's basketball team has been named Middle Atlantic Conference (MAC) Commonwealth Player of the week. Cooper led the Lions to a 1-1 week which included a 31-point win over Eastern.

The junior scored in double figures in both contests, finishing with 14 points against Stevenson and a team-high 20 points versus Eastern.

Across the two games, Cooper added 15 rebounds and six steals. She continues to lead the MAC in total steals (56) and steals per game (2.6).

Cooper and the women's basketball team will travel to Messiah tomorrow (Feb. 4) night looking for the season sweep over the Falcons. The game is set to tip-off at 7 p.m.
