HERSHEY, Pa. – Men's golf continued their spring season on Thursday afternoon competing in the single day Elizabethtown Spring Invitational. The 18 holes were played at Hershey Country Club. Albright finished with a team score of 328 which placed seventh overall.
RESULTS
Albright took seventh overall out of 12 teams. McDaniel won the tournament with a team score of 307 and was followed by Dickinson in second who shot 318. Salisbury and Moravian tied for third with a team score of 321.
Although the calendar flipped to April the conditions were less than favorable creating a tougher course than normal. The teams played the east course at Hershey Country Club which measures 7,061 yards and is a par 71.
Ashton McKechan led the Lions with a round of 80. The result was good for T15 overall out of 64 total golfers in the field.
Nontaphat Veeratecha and
Evan Twyman tied between themselves with round of 81. The scores were good for T20 overall.
Chris DiRita finished with an 86 to round out the days action for Albright.
